[size=45]The Migration, Displacement, and Community Reconciliation Committee, headed by Representative Ronzi Ziad Sidou, and in the presence of a number of its members, hosted the Director General of the Legal Department at the Ministry of Immigration and Displacement, Mr. Jawdat Kazem, and his assistant and Assistant Director General of the Branches Department at the Ministry, on Wednesday, 3/13/2024, to discuss a number of issues, most notably the amendment Law of the Ministry of Immigration and Displacement.[/size]
[size=45]During the hosting, they discussed amending the law of the Ministry of Immigration and Displacement in order to make it more effective and to amend its legal articles to become more useful and flexible so that the law includes broader categories of displaced persons with compensation.[/size]
[size=45]The meeting was attended by members of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Lieutenant General Jabbar Yawar, and Lieutenant General Jamil Muhammad Hassan (retired military personnel).[/size]
