    The Associated Press revealed in a report published today, Friday (March 22, 2024), the details of the upcoming meeting between Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and US President Joe Biden, which is scheduled to be held in the middle of next month, confirming that it has obtained information about the files that will be discussed during Meeting. 
    The agency explained, according to what “Baghdad Today” translated, that “Biden intends to talk with Al-Sudani about the release of the Israeli kidnapped in Iraq, Elizabeth Tsurkov, in addition to the dollar file and the economic pressure that Washington is exerting on Baghdad to reduce its economic cooperation with Tehran.” 
    She continued, "The talk will also include preventing attacks on American forces inside their bases in Iraq in exchange for reducing the footprint of the presence of international coalition forces throughout the country," noting that the talk will not include negotiations about reducing the number of American forces, but reducing the number of international coalition forces led by the United States inside. Iraq. 
    It is noteworthy that the White House announced today in an official statement its intention to receive Al-Sudani next month in the Oval Office for an “expanded” meeting with US President Joe Biden, only indicating that the meeting will include talking about “a group of problems, including the ongoing war against the terrorist organization ISIS.” Economic reforms and development of the Iraqi economy.
    As for the Iraqi statement, it indicated that the meeting will include a discussion on the horizon of the future relationship in the post-international coalition to fight ISIS, and the best ways to move to a comprehensive partnership between Iraq and the United States of America, in light of the strategic framework agreement between the two countries in the political, economic, financial, cultural and educational fields.
