The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, announced today, Monday, that the completion rate of the road between Al-Faw Port and the development project exceeded 73 percent.
The Ministry of Transport stated in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, “Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi arrived today in Basra Governorate, and conducted a field tour accompanied by a number of Basra deputies and general directors.”
Al-Saadawi confirmed that the completion rate in the road project linking the Grand Port of Al-Faw and the development road exceeded 73 percent.
He continued, "The bridge linking the submerged tunnel and the Safwan border crossing is an important link," explaining that "our project will provide hundreds of thousands of job opportunities for the people of Basra."
