The House of Representatives voted on the proposed First Amendment Law to the Law Regulating Human Organ Transplantation No. (11) of 2016.
The House of Representatives completed the first reading of the proposed trade union organization law for workers and craft employees in Iraq.
The House of Representatives also completed the first reading of the draft law on the Republic of Iraq’s accession to the Kigali Protocol of 2016, the Fifth Amendment to the Montreal Protocol regarding Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer of 1987, annexed to the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer of 1985.
The House of Representatives also completed the first reading of the proposal for the third amendment to the law on compensation for those affected who lost part of their bodies as a result of the practices of the former regime, amended No. (5) of 2009.
The House of Representatives completed the first reading of the proposal for the second amendment to the amended Political Prisoners Institution Law No. (4) of 2006.
The Council concluded the first reading of the proposed First Amendment Law to the Law Establishing the Equivalence of Arab and Foreign Academic Certificates and Degrees No. (20) of 2020.
Then it was decided to adjourn the session.
