The House of Representatives finishes reading four laws and adjourns its session until next Wednesday

The House of Representatives held its regular session, headed by Acting Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, in the presence of 170 deputies.
The House of Representatives postponed the first paragraph of its agenda related to considering the appeals submitted regarding the validity of the membership of some ladies and gentlemen representatives due to the lack of two-thirds of the members of the House.
The House of Representatives also completed the first reading of the draft law on the Republic of Iraq’s accession to the Convention Concerning International Exhibitions signed in Paris in 1928, supplemented by the protocols and their amendments for the years 1982 and 1988.
While the House of Representatives completed the first reading of the draft law on compensation for the properties of those affected by the former regime.
The House of Representatives completed the report and discussion of the draft law on the Republic of Iraq’s accession to the International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives for the year 2015. It also completed the report and discussion of the draft law on the twenty-first amendment to the Landlords Law.
The House of Representatives decided to adjourn its session until next Wednesday.
