[ltr]The Turkish military said it launched air strikes on fighters loyal to the PKK in northern Iraq and southeast Turkey on Tuesday.[/ltr]
[ltr]The army said in a statement on Wednesday that "the caves and hideouts and ammunition depots hit by air raids in northern Iraq and in the rural areas near the town of Hmdinela in southeast Turkey."[/ltr]
[ltr]The army said, it killed 26 PKK fighters in the towns of Nusaybin and Şırnak Province and Iukskova on Tuesday only, adding that he had destroyed explosives and confiscated weapons and ammunition.[/ltr]
[ltr]The army said security sources, said the PKK fighters were killed on Tuesday, five of the security forces in three separate bomb attacks near the border with Syria and with Iran.[/ltr]
[ltr]The military says that more than a thousand fighters have been killed in the country's southeast, a Kurdish majority population, since the collapse of the cease-Alnaren which lasted two and a half in July agreement, and the collapse of the agreement to the occurrence of the heaviest fighting in the region since Altsainaat.anthy 29 / tc n[/ltr]
