Homeland Security announced the US Secretary, John Kelly, to work in the construction of the border wall with Mexico could begin this summer, in implementation of the decision of President Donald Trump and electoral promises.
Kelly said, in a video released through the social networking site "Fox News" (Twitter): "I think that by the end of the spring and early summer, we will have some models, and then we will be able to move forward by the summer."
The minister said, "We will not be able to do it all day and night, but we'll get to it as soon as possible," adding that "about 100 companies have shown interest in the project."
According to a press release of the Department of Homeland Security said Kelly Sessions are visiting El Paso, Texas, and San Diego this week "to monitor the southern border operations" and interview members of the Ministries of Justice and Homeland Security.
The US president, Donald Trump, signed last January, a decision on securing the border and the construction of the separation wall with Mexico. He announced that the construction of the wall on the US-Mexican border will begin immediately, stressing that his country will regain that control the southern border, which is in the interests of the two neighboring countries.
Trump said that the wall with Mexico would be financed by taxpayers, but pointed out that these funds will return to the United States after the termination of negotiations with the Mexican authorities, which in turn will pay all the expenses of new construction between Albuldan.anthy 25 K
