Mahdi al-Alaq, to stay away from the bureaucracy in the administrative deal between the Secretariat departments in particular, and the state institutions in general and reduce some of the excess rings in a way that does not intersect with the laws and instructions provided for by the Constitution. The Secretary-General pointed out that "the government is working to address the slack in the Secretariat and all government institutions in the direction of rearranging the administrative structures commensurate with the volume of responsibility entrusted to them and the tasks entrusted to them, as well as seek to reduce the number of special grades."
For his part, the Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department, Professor Qusay Omar Sharif, and the staff of the Department highlighted the obstacles and proposals that have a direct impact on the level of performance of the department in general, as well as its achievements during the previous period, most importantly the project (credit) and application in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The Department is one of the most important departments of the Secretariat as it undertakes the tasks of auditing and controlling all the operations of the Secretariat and its administrative and financial activities, in addition to the implementation of the decentralization process in the internal audit work.
