Education seeks to secure the dues of students and colleges
15/1/2018 12:00 am [rtl] 100 thousand dinars for preliminary studies and 150 thousand for the upper Baghdad / Haider al-Atari The universities are waiting for the approval of this year's budget to secure the amounts of scholarships granted to students of colleges and morning institutes, while the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has made efforts to provide student dues in various stages and scientific disciplines. The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Haider Mohammed Al-Abboudi, said in a statement to the "morning" that the ministry is seeking to allocate funds within the budget for the current year, in order to secure the entitlements of students of colleges and institutes in different stages of study and scientific and humanitarian disciplines for morning studies exclusively. He said that the student grant, which is to be one of the budget items of the Ministry of Education, will be distributed among the students at 100 thousand dinars for undergraduate and diploma students, and 150 thousand for master's and doctoral students, pointing out that the ministry has prepared the controls for disbursement. Al-Abboudi said that the law stipulates suspending the student in the event of postponement of the study or failure or failure to attend more than 10 percent annually in one or more subjects during the year or semester or in case of dismissal of the student from the study. During the study period, stressing that the delivery of the subsidy is limited to the student only and does not allow the agency.
