    Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research prepared a plan to accept more than 120 thousand students in colleges and institutes distributed between Baghdad and the provinces of the country all within the first phase of the academic year (2017 - 2018) for morning studies.
    The university's media spokesman, Dr. Haider Mohammed Al-Abboudi, told Al-Sabah: "The universities of the country represented by faculties and departments will receive more than 120 thousand students from graduates of the new institutes and institutes to start the first phase of the current academic year 2017-2018 for morning studies, both according to average and entitlement.
    He stressed that the ministry has been working for the past few years to develop new programs of issuing the central acceptance within a record period after receiving the results of successful students from the first and second stages of admission through the minimum limits of the total and the average, as well as the differentiation courses adopted in some disciplines.
    Al-Abboudi pointed out that his ministry has set the rules and instructions for acceptance on each channel so that the student can submit according to the average and the total obtained in his specialization in the preparatory school, noting that his ministry will launch the electronic admission form for students, which must fill 25 options at a minimum and 50 options at a maximum, 10 Institute Choices.
    He explained that colleges and institutes will receive graduates of the first stage of morning studies within the central admission plan, in addition to the civil education, which is considered a supporter of public education, will take the responsibility to accept the proportion of graduate students through an electronic submission form prepared for submission also and more than 25 percent of Outputs of the Ministry of Education, as well as evening studies.
    The ministry's spokesman said that "the conditions of admission included that the student is full of study and may not combine the job and study at the same time in the colleges and morning institutes, including the members of all government institutions and requires the continuation of the study to obtain a study leave from their departments in accordance with the instructions in force."
