The coalition stated in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that it "rejects the Turkish Minister of Interior's announcement of Turkey's intention to establish a new military base in Iraq, and considers it a continuation of policies that violate Iraqi sovereignty."
The coalition called on the official and national authorities to "take the required measures to preserve the sovereignty of Iraq," calling on the Turkish government to "reconsider its policies towards Iraq, in order to preserve common interests, stability and good neighborliness."
