The White House announced its support for repealing the law issued in the year 2002 that authorized the United States to enter the war on Iraq.
A White House statement affirmed that the administration of President Joe Biden supports repealing the law that authorized the use of force against Iraq and was issued during the era of former President George W. Bush, indicating that the effect of that repeal will be limited to current military operations.
It is expected that the abolition of the law will be approved by Congress this week, against the background of the majority enjoyed by Democrats in the House.
