Work decides to pay the salaries of insured workers monthly

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has completed the procedures for disbursing pension salaries to insured workers monthly, starting from the beginning of next year, instead of every two months.
The director of the Retirement and Social Security Department in the ministry, Kholoud Hiran, said in a statement to the official "Al-Sabah" newspaper, which was reviewed by "Economy News", that "the department will disburse pension salaries on a monthly basis instead of two months for each payment, starting from the beginning of next year 2022, which requires making more efforts. for the purpose of achieving this."
And she added, "It was instructed to expedite the completion of all procedures for disbursing pension salaries to be launched on time, as well as speeding up the completion of citizens' transactions, especially the sick and the elderly," explaining that "the retirement and social security law for workers will be a guarantor for a large group of workers in All private and mixed sector projects.
And the Director of Retirement and Social Security indicated that "the ministry is keen to guarantee the rights of its insured workers and to take legal measures against companies, laboratories and workshops that have forcibly laid off workers and is working to preserve their rights in accordance with the law," explaining that "the ministry has made a great leap in the number of workers covered by social security through Implementation of several inspection campaigns for workplaces, bringing the total number of covered workers to more than 600,000 workers in Baghdad and the governorates.
