    Baghdad - Nas
The head of the office of the regional government, Omid Sabah, said on Thursday that the Kurdish delegation met several times with a federal delegation headed by the Prime Minister's Office and includes representatives of the ministries of finance, planning, oil and financial control. It was also attended by Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein of Construction and Housing Bankin Rikani.

On the issue of oil exports, Sabah said in statements to Kurdish media, followed by "NAS" (July 27, 2023), that "the Kurdistan Regional Government is committed to handing over its oil production to the Federal Ministry of Oil in accordance with the agreement and according to what was stated in the budget, and it disposes of it, whether it is for use in the local market or refineries or exports."

In another aspect of his clarifications, Omid Sabah said, "They saw a kind of confirmation and willingness by the federal government delegation to implement the budget law, especially with regard to the issue of items related to the Kurdistan region."

Sabah said, "The agreement signed between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government relates to a set of financial dues for the region, and they agreed to start financing the region as soon as possible, and Erbil will then start paying the salaries of employees."
