Al-Saadawi, in the presence of the Iraqi Ambassador to Riyadh, Safiya Al-Suhail, the Director-General of the Airports and Air Navigation Department, Dr. Abbas Al-Baidhani, and the Director-General of Iraqi Airways, Engineer Manaf Abdel-Moneim Ajel, reviewed the most prominent achievements witnessed by the Iraqi transport sector, and the national strategic plans in the field of air transport and others.
The meeting discussed, according to the statement, the activation of air links between Iraqi and Saudi airports, in light of the increasing demand by citizens in both countries for travel for religious and other tourism.
