Basra/ Iraq TradeLink: South Oil Company announced digging new 250 oil wells in Rumaila oilfield
by the authority that undertook to operate the oilfield in Basra province.
The company reported that the production of these fields reached 610.000 b/d, which represents 24% of the field's production.
Rumaila oilfield , invested by BP oil company is the biggest of oilfields in Iraq which has a major role in Iraqi oil exports.
