Minister of Finance invites Kuwaiti companies to invest in Iraq

The Minister of Finance / Agency Abdul Razzaq Al-Issa, on Monday, Kuwaiti companies to invest in Iraq.
"The historical, geographical and economic contributions represent an important area for the two countries to improve the level of bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Kuwait," al-Issa said in a statement after receiving the Kuwaiti ambassador in Baghdad Salem al-Zamanan and his accompanying delegation.
He added that "investment is one of the important aspects of cooperation at this stage," stressing "the importance of developing scientific cooperation, especially in the field of economy and planning to achieve the scientific benefit sought by the parties."
The minister called on Kuwaiti companies to invest in Iraq.
For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador expressed "his country's readiness to strengthen the pillars of the participants between the two sides and stand together to meet all the obstacles and challenges."
