Pentagon admits the presence of US troops in Yemen

Recognized by the US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, there was a "limited" US troops on Yemeni territory in the context of the war against al-Qaeda calls it in the Arabian Peninsula.
The official spokesman for the US Department of Defense, Jeff Davis, said that "the US government remains concerned about al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and other extremist organizations violent operating in Yemen, the island and as such and in order to defend our interests, particularly against al-Qaeda, can be limited to the number of US forces reside sometimes inside Alemen, just as we did before March 2015, when US forces withdrew from the country after the instability caused by the seizure of power on the Houthis. "
The spokesman did not specify the number of US forces stationed saying, "due to security concerns operational on the ground, we do not discuss the type, size and location of the activities that will be undertaken by any forces operating on Yemeni territory."
Davis added, "We have implemented since 28 February last more than 70 minutes a blow against al-Qaeda in the island Arab, targeted infrastructure Altanah, sites Alguetalah, and Almaadat, and we will continue to perform these operations, including air strikes, against known terrorist elements."
