Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Saturday congratulated the Christian community for their Easter celebrations.
A statement from the Prime Minister's Office received a copy of the Mawazine News that "Abadi offers congratulations and congratulations to the Christian brothers in Iraq and the world on the occasion of their Easter celebrations, which coincides with the great victories achieved by our heroic forces on gangs,
He wished them "a happy life and a decent life in a unified Iraq, whose sons enjoy all their colors and names in a safe country that can serve everyone."
This is considered the President of the Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani, Saturday, the Christians "a dear part of the people of Kurdistan," noting that Christians will participate in the self-determination of the Kurdistan region.
