    Sommer News: Follow-up

    Iraq's oil minister said on Thursday that Iraq would stick to the outcome of the consensus when OPEC meets in Vienna next month to discuss the extension of an agreement to cut production.

    Minister Jabbar Allaibi told a conference in Paris, "we are heading on 25 May to OPEC and will abide by the decision of OPEC without doubt the final collective decisions."

    Allaibi said in a press statement followed the "Sommer News", Iraq's second-largest producer in OPEC, is fully committed to reducing the supply agreement led by the Organization was reached last year, and it has achieved 97 percent of the goal of reducing its production.

    OPEC and Russia and other producers agreed to cut production 1.8 million barrels per day for six months from January to support the market. It is expected to extend producers agreement for another six months when they meet in May.
