Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Najeeba Najeeb, of the Parlaimentary Financial Committee confirmed “The security situation is a basic impediment that hinders the investment projects in the country.”
She stated to IraqiNews.com “The country needs investment projects and Iraq is among the countries that have great investment opportunities because most of the infrastructure fields required reconstruction.”
“The investing sides retreat after checking the deteriorated security situation in Iraq,” she added.
“The investment field requires the cooperation between the parliament and the government in addition to the endorsement of the laws that encourage investors to work in Iraq,” she concluded.
