Rowhani attacking Trump: We will security to the region
BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
He announced that the Iranian president, Hassan Rowhani, the meetings held by the US president in Saudi Arabia "sham no political value," stressing that the Iranian people is will restore security to the region.
Rowhani said on Monday, in his first press conference after his re-election as president: "Who will fight terrorism is the Iraqi people and the Syrian people," stressing that Tehran would continue its support for Syria and Iraq.
He added that "the fight against terrorism can not be spent or conferences of peoples money" in reference to US arms sales to Saudi Arabia deals concluded during a visit to Riyadh Trump, which declared worth 110 billion dollars.
