    the Ministry of Agriculture plans to hold a scientific conference to combat desertification, while the number of researchers and specialists in the field of agriculture will participate in it and to address the growing problem of desertification in the
    country.
    The ministry said in a statement received «morning», a copy of it, the forest and desertification , and in collaboration with the Agricultural Research Service of the Ministry Department, establish the first scientific conference to combat desertification for the period (17 18) next September, at the headquarters of the ministry under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture Falah Hassan Zidane.
    She added that the conference will be held under the slogan ( the scourge of desertification affects land and threatening food security .. to contribute together in the fight), a number of researchers and specialists in agricultural affairs and contributes to it through scientific research and studies to reduce the problem.
    The ministry said , according to the statement, that the conference aims to intensify efforts and work to address the scourge of desertification that affect agricultural land and affect the soil negatively through the application of scientific research and studies on the ground in order to undermine the desertification and the neutralization process and reducing the proportion of harm agricultural land, calling through the Committee Preparatory Conference, researchers and agricultural specialists to participate through scientific researches.
    It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Agriculture will continue to establish scientific conferences and research seminars that contribute to improving the agricultural situation and increase agricultural production , both plant and animal proportions to achieve food security in support of the national economy.
