    The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed Thursday that the number of suspected cases of cholera in 20 counties reached 356,591 cases during the period, with a total of 1,000 deaths and 802 cases since the end of April.

    According to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), its committees have managed to treat 45,700 suspected cholera cases in response to cholera outbreaks in Yemen between July 4 and 9.

    According to the bulletin, the Economic Security Department in cooperation with the cleaning funds carried out garbage collection campaigns in several Yemeni governorates within the ICRC's cash-for-work program, which included about 840 workers, and the removal and removal of approximately 10,000 tons of garbage accumulated in the streets.

    The ICRC also confirmed that it supported 18 health facilities in 12 Yemeni governorates to treat severe cases of cholera, noting that 11 facilities were supported in the most targeted governorates through hygiene campaigns and cholera awareness sessions, hygiene promotion, medical supplies as needed and chlorine tablets.
