    Baghdad: Iraq News Network-new Iraq reaffirmed its commitment to completing met its obligations to pay compensation to Kuwait. it came during a meeting Wednesday, Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari in Baghdad, with Tibor Raja, Executive Director of the United Nations Compensation Commission, the two sides reviewed the efforts of Iraq to fulfill its obligations to pay damages to Kuwait. Raja, commended the efforts to end this file, was also invited to take advantage of the environmental reform programme undertaken by the United Nations in the region. Zebari said Iraq is keen on Complete all personal items and close the file.

    I think if they want to pay off Kuwait early I would think this would be a good thing for RV.  Then this file won't be hanging over their head and they can get on with the RV and their money is there own.  I also think being out of this debt to Kuwait will help the Iraq economy.

    Personaly IMHO, if I was the one in control, I would wait to pay off after a increase in my value as I could use what now to pay more later. now, If i was on the other side of the debt, I would want it now knowing that a possibility of it raising would be in my favor... ;)
