The House of Representatives raises its meeting to Monday after reading and postponing a number of laws
BAGHDAD - The Iraqi Council of Representatives raised its meeting to next Monday, after reading the proposed amendment to the law of the owners of the law No. (25) for the year 1960 and read the report and discussion of the draft law of ratification of the Convention on the encouragement and mutual protection of investments between the Government of Iraq and the Government Iran, and defer consideration of appeals filed on the health of some MPs.
The Information Office of the Presidency of the Council of Representatives said Saturday that the Council will hold its 11th session of the first legislative term for the fourth and final legislative year to vote and read a number of bills.
He pointed out that "the session includes the vote on the draft amendment to the third law of provinces that are not organized in the region, and vote on the draft law on the residence of foreigners and the draft amendment to the third law of provinces not organized in the region, and vote on the draft law on the establishment of foreigners.
