    Hossein Abdul Wazi, Vice-President of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, called for the necessary follow-up to activate a comprehensive and free trade agreement with Syria.
    In a meeting with Syrian Economy Minister Samer Al-Khalil on Friday (August 18th) in Damascus, Abdel-Razzy expressed his happiness at the stability in Syria and announced the formation of a special committee in the Chamber of Commerce to pursue the issue of strengthening and expanding economic cooperation with Syria.
    He added that if urgent commercial requirements were identified and a list of reconstruction and construction projects in Syria, the Iranian Chamber of Commerce would use all its available resources to meet as many of these requirements as possible.
    During his meeting with the Syrian Minister of Economy, Abdul-Razi called for the issuance of decisions and the necessary follow-up to implement a thorough and comprehensive implementation of the free trade agreement between Iran and Syria.
    Syrian Minister of Economy, Samer Al-Khalil, expressed his hope that he would soon visit a visit to the Iranian capital of Tehran to discuss the development and strengthening of economic relations and cooperation in the private sector between the two countries.
