Union of forces: "ethnic" militias behind the kidnapping and killing of displaced women in Kirkuk

The former parliament's judge, Mohamed Khalidi, accused militias and political parties of terrorist attacks against the displaced in Kirkuk, calling on the federal government to take a decisive stand on the issue.

"What is happening in Kirkuk is a serious sign of ethnic cleansing and demographic change in the region," Khalidi told the Journal News.

He added: "This requires a real pause from everyone because Kirkuk is a sensitive area and does not solve its cause except by the intervention of the federal government and its agreement with all parties."

Khalidi pointed out that understanding is the only solution to end the tragedy of the displaced because it is dangerous and could extend to other areas.

He also pointed out that the assistance provided to the displaced is not at the required level and requires international cooperation because Iraq alone can not do so.

A member of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (JEM) promised on Monday to abduct displaced women from the camps in Kirkuk and kill them and throw them into serious violation of the dignity and inviolability of Iraqi women.

Al-Jumaili said in a statement received by the Journal News, "The abduction of women displaced from the camps and their killing and the recent killing of them in Kirkuk is a serious, shameful and shameful violation of the dignity and inviolability of Iraqi women, which does not match the greatness of Iraqi women and their sanctity, And customs. "

Jumaili held the local administration in Kirkuk responsible for any humanitarian violations that Iraqi women are subjected to and called on them to protect Kirkuk women from attacks.
