Afghanistan offers "comprehensive negotiations" on Pakistan

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Friday offered Pakistan "comprehensive negotiations" to bring peace to their troubled relationship in a message on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
"Peace with Pakistan is on our national agenda," Ghani said, urging insurgents to lay down their arms.
Afghanistan has accused Pakistan of sheltering Taliban militants, while Islamabad says its enemies have found safe havens in Afghanistan.
Countries differ on border areas, Afghanistan refuses to accept the international border line known as the Durand line, and exchanges of fire between the two armies, while Pakistan seeks to build a fence on the line.
