A new slap to Israel: "Interpol" accepts the membership of Palestine

The International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) announced on Wednesday that it accepted the membership of Palestine after a vote by the General Assembly of the Organization during a meeting in Beijing, aimed at a new blow to the Israeli occupation.
"The State of Palestine and the Solomon Islands have become members of INTERPOL," the organization said in a tweet on Twitter.
"With the accession of the two states of Palestine and the Solomon Islands, the number of Interpol member states is increasing to 192 countries."
In the first Israeli reaction, the Minister of Environment and the so-called Minister of Jerusalem, Ze'ev Alkin, demanded the revocation of mobility and movement privileges for PA leaders.
In addition to the admission of Palestine to Interpol, 75 of the 133 countries with voting rights voted in favor of the proposal. The proposal was opposed by 24 countries and 34 abstained.
