Follow-up / SNG - The Islamic State Organization broadcast on Thursday a voice message attributed to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi through Al-Furqan Media Foundation known for its association with the organization.
In the letter, he hears a voice similar to al-Baghdadi's voice referring to the new North Korean threats to Japan and the United States.
He also referred to the battle of Mosul, which was restored by Iraqi forces from the state organization in July.
Baghdadi, who has been awarded a $ 25 million prize by the United States for information leading to his arrest since July 2014, has not seen.
The last time he appeared was when he delivered a sermon at Al-Nouri mosque in Mosul and announced the establishment of the Khilafah state.
There is no indication of the date of the 46-minute audio recording, but it is the first since the last record of the militant leader in November.
The letter comes amid speculation about al-Baghdadi's fate after he lost control of most of the areas he controlled in Iraq and Syria.
Baghdadi asked supporters to "stand up against the Kurds and Nasserism," a possible reference to the battle of Raqqa.
"Without credible evidence of his death, we continue to assume that al-Baghdadi is alive," said spokesman Ryan Dillon.
"We have learned about the alleged audio tape of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and we are taking steps to examine it, and we have no reason to doubt his health," a Defense Ministry spokesman told the BBC. "We have no confirmation about this."
A senior US military commander said at the beginning of September that Baghdadi may still be alive, contradicting Russia's account of his fate that he may have been killed in a raid in Syria in May.
It is not possible to predict based on the voice message if the leader of the Islamic State Organization is indeed alive. In addition to not containing a clear date of registration, the message contained no content clearly linked to the current situation.
But the BBC's security affairs correspondent Frank Gardner said the contents of the tape showed Baghdadi had survived until August.
He added that these reports would give a small moral boost to the fighters of the Islamic State Organization, who are trapped still clinging to the tenderness, unlikely to happen any difference strategically.

The leader of the organization urged Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, his followers on Thursday to maintain and continue to fight, in the first soundtrack attributed to him nearly a year during which his hardline organization of most of the lands of "Khalaf" announced by unilaterally.
The registration, which included mostly religious sermons and a motivational speech by militants, was issued after numerous reports of the death of al-Baghdadi. His last recorded voice was released in early November 2016, two weeks before the start of the battle in Mosul.
The date of the 46-minute-long recording by Al-Furqan, a news organization linked to the militant organization, was unclear. But al-Baghdadi pointed out in the recording North Korea's threats to both the United States and Japan.
Iraqi forces have retaken a series of cities in western and northern Iraq, including Mosul since Baghdadi declared the caliphate from the pulpit of the city's Nuri Mosque.
Western-backed Syrian forces are also incursion into the eastern city of Rigga, where the organization's command center has been planned for several attacks that have killed hundreds of people around the world.
Al-Baghdadi said in reference to his followers in Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, North Africa and other places on the continent, "You, the eye of the eye, that one of you will do the same with retaliation, defeat, negotiation or surrender.
He added: "Viva soldiers caliphate and kindle the flames of war against your enemy and take them and Astzrohm in every observatory and revived the enthusiasm and courage."
Baghdadi also pointed to the Western media saying, "And the soldiers of Islam everywhere intensified strikes after strikes and make the centers of information people of disbelief and the role of intellectual war within the goals."
The fall of Mosul in July marked the end of the Iraqi division of al-Baghdadi's Caliphate even though the Islamic state continued to fight in some areas outside Mosul, the largest city under the control of the organization in both Iraq and Syria.
The organization's branch in Libya was defeated last year in the city of Sirte, where it set up its branch in North Africa in 2014. In Egypt's Sinai, a group belonging to the organization is still fighting the Egyptian army.
Baghdadi said in the video recording, "And God willing and his strength remain steadfast Saberon calculated in the House of Islam will not Ttnna the large number of killings and wounds."
Officials said they believed it could take years to capture or kill Baghdadi. The hardline leader is believed to be hiding in the vast desert between Mosul and Iraq.
The United States offered a $ 25 million reward for information leading to the location of Baghdadi.
Russia's defense ministry said earlier this year it may have killed al-Baghdadi when one of its air strikes targeted a gathering of senior al-Qaeda leaders in the suburbs of the city, but Washington said it could not prove his death, as Western and Iraqi officials questioned.
