    [ltr]Special - Mawazine News[/ltr]
[ltr]The economic expert Dhurgam Mohammed Ali, on Tuesday, threatened Turkey to close the oil pipeline with Kurdistan blackmail the Iraqi government and to bring together, noting that oil in northern Iraq is sold informally and without the consent of Baghdad.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Turkey does not seem serious about closing the pipeline of oil and border crossings," Ali said in an interview with Mawazin News. "These threats are media statements only because they are making big gains from exporting oil."[/ltr]
[ltr]"Oil in northern Iraq is being sold informally and without the approval of Baghdad, which has repeatedly asked Ankara not to sell it separately from the center," Ali said.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The sale of oil to the region below its price has made influential people in the Turkish government get huge commissions," he said, adding that "including Erdogan or his family, they are somehow seeking to delay or not respond to Baghdad."[/ltr]
[ltr]"Baghdad has previously asked Turkey to close the oil pipeline with Kurdistan, but the Turkish side seems to want to blackmail the governments of Baghdad and Arbil by issuing statements and waiting for the reactions and offers presented to him without moving a finger on the ground," he said.[/ltr]
[ltr]The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened to close the oil pipeline with the Kurdistan region of Iraq, which is issued through Turkey, in response to the referendum for separation from Iraq.[/ltr]
