(International: Al Furat News) The United Nations in its first comment on what is happening in Saudi Arabia, clarifications from the Royal Court on the arrests and the confiscation of funds of many princes, ministers and officials within the Kingdom.
"We need clarifications about the nature of the accusations, as well as guarantees that will confirm their legality," deputy spokesman Farhan Haq told a news conference at the organization's headquarters in New York.
The Saudi royal court issued a package of orders that resulted in the arrest of 18 emirs and several personalities and businessmen, after the Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the formation of an anti-corruption committee under the chairmanship of his son Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
