(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) criticized an economist of the state's fiscal policy.
"The country's fiscal policy is scattered and does not depend on a unified approach," Zia al-Mohsen told AFP. "The country's budget is balancing items, not programs in which funds are allocated to the provinces, which is approved by the government since 2005."
He explained that "the goal of the budget to achieve economic stability and development of services and these are not present in the budgets in the past years and absent growth rates as we have not seen any improvement in the status of citizens in addition to the rest of most sectors of the state."
"The sectors in Iraq are industrial, agricultural, tourism and manufacturing industries, and these are all dependent and we rely on securing the state funds a large proportion of oil imports."
He pointed out that "the survival of the Ministry of Finance without a minister is a flaw in itself and should be filled by virtue after 6 months of vacancy."
