Anbar province governor for information, Bassem al-Anbari, announced on Monday the allocation of $ 50 million for projects to restore stability in the western regions by the United Nations Development Program ( UNDP).
Al-Anbari said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that Anbar governor Mohammed Al-Halbusi met with the head of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Iraq, Liz Karandi in the governorate building. During the meeting, the projects of the previous phase implemented by the program in Anbar, Approved the allocation of 50 million dollars to support the project to restore stability in the areas of custody and narrated by al-Qaim west of Anbar . "
He added that "the two sides agreed on the continuous coordination and holding of weekly meetings to facilitate the implementation of projects and address all problems and obstacles to ensure the smooth work and efficiency in implementation and to ensure the creation of an environment for the restoration of stability in these areas" .
