    Al-Arabi newspaper said that there are nine countries demanding Iraq guarantees for their participation in the donor conference, noting that more than 32 countries have not yet agreed to attend so far. 

    The newspaper quoted an Iraqi minister as saying that "there is hesitation among a large number of Western countries to agree to participate in the conference of donors to Iraq in Kuwait, including members of the military alliance against a Washington-led organization," noting that "80 countries were invited Official, and there are more than 32 countries, including several important countries and known for their contributions to such large conferences, did not inform us of their consent to attend so far.

    "Nine of them have demanded guarantees regarding the country's civic identity and the prevention of marginalization and exclusion," the minister said, adding that "we heard this from officials in several countries on the sidelines of the Davos conference."

"
