[ltr]Oil Minister Jabbar Ali Al-Allaibi announced on Friday the arrival of the national production of liquid gas to 6125 thousand tons per day, while the achievement of a significant increase in production reached more than 40%.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by the Ministry of Oil, received / Mawazine News / copy, that "Allaibi, a telegram to the Prime Minister, announced the arrival of national production of liquid gas to 6125 thousand tons per day, and stressed that this is an unprecedented national achievement added to the achievements The Ministry of Oil despite the economic challenges. "[/ltr]
[ltr]Al-Allaibi said in his cable that "the keenness of the workers in the oil sector and their dedication and continued night by day has contributed to reducing the planned completion time from one year to a few months and achieving a significant increase in production reached more than 40% Iraq strongly to the ranks of gas exporting countries. "[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "this achievement would not have been achieved without the concerted efforts of all sincere, as well as the support of the Government represented by the Prime Minister of the oil sector and his keenness to harness all available possibilities and follow-up to the achievements of the optimal investment of oil and gas resources."[/ltr]
[ltr]The Minister of Oil announced last month that the total shipments of gas invested for the year 2017 amounted to 29 consignments of gas condensates and 51 shipments of liquid gas, while the quantities of condensate exported were 677,885 thousand cubic meters, The liquid gas reached (143,667) thousand metric tons, indicating that the quantities were exported from the southern ports in Khor al-Zubayr through the Basrah Gas Company.[/ltr]
[ltr]He also announced, at the beginning of 2018, the achievement of an unprecedented increase in the investment of the gas associated with the oil operations in the Basra gas project by up to (80%) in early January 2018, and access to investment capacity of this project to the rate (900) Million cubic feet per day), as well as to achieve further increase in the investment of raw gas from the fields of the South Gas Company and Missan Oil Company up to the rate of (230) cubic meters (million standard cubic feet per day).[/ltr]
