Iranian official reveals attempts to disrupt relations between Baghdad and Tehran"Today, we are witnessing the establishment of appropriate political and commercial relations between the two friendly countries and neighboring Iran and Iraq," Bohr said in a press statement. "This cooperation and rapprochement comes in circumstances that do not please some countries to develop friendly relations between these two countries.
He pointed out that there are frantic attempts by some countries to confuse the relations between Iran and Iraq, indicating that Iran supports the independence of modern Iraq, and this is not desired by Western politicians arrogant, led by the Americans.
"The regimes, which fear Iran's increasing power in the region and because of the upcoming Iraqi elections, are trying to strengthen the currents that are not intellectually compatible with the Islamic Revolution, financially and politically, and seek to obstruct the development of Iranian-Iraqi relations.
"In the current sensitive circumstances, the Iraqi government and people should be more vigilant than they were before, so as not to be misled by suspicious systems and to seek to establish Iraq's independence, dignity and security," he said.
