TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iranian authorities have found the bodies of 30 people on board the Asman airliner that crashed Sunday in the Smirm district of Isfahan, central Iran.
"Thirty bodies of the victims of the disaster plane were recovered at the site of their fall, and efforts are being made to find the rest of the bodies," the governor of Kahiluya and Bouwer Ahmed Mohamed Ahmadi was quoted as saying by IRNA news agency on Tuesday.
"The lack of improvement in overall weather conditions and the severity of the region did not provide the possibility of air relief operations and rescue teams could only be sent by land," Ahmadi said.
In the same context, the agency quoted "Fares" a mountain climber participating in the relief and rescue teams, saying that 30 bodies of the victims of the passenger plane can be seen, and can identify 15 bodies of them.
