Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said on Tuesday that land clearance operations are continuing in Iraq, pointing out that the security services have developed a plan to eliminate the elements of the organization.
"We rely on the intelligence effort primarily to hunt down the remnants of a pro-Islamic organization," Abadi said at the weekly press conference.
"There are no foreign bases on Iraqi soil," Abadi said, adding that "security forces control the Iraqi-Syrian border."
He noted that "international forces in Iraq do not work only with the consent of the government."
