The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced on Tuesday the recovery of more than three billion dinars from the transgressors on the Social Protection Fund during the past two months.
The Director-General of the Department of Protection in the Social Protection Department of the Ministry Jacqueline Saliwa said in a statement that "the ministry succeeded in recovering three billion and 132 million and 668 thousand dinars, a billion and 516 million and 648 dinars during the month of January last, in addition to one billion and 625 million and 818 thousand dinars during Last February, "explaining that" these amounts have been recovered from the transgressors on the Social Protection Fund by the supervisory committees of the competent ministry. "
She added that "the Fund worked to resolve the issue of debt recovery from the excesses and work to exclude non-eligible to ensure the arrival of these amounts to the families owed to them, noting that the number of families covered by social benefits exceeded one million families," noting that "the Council of Ministers amended Resolution No. 110 of 2011 To address the excesses on the salaries of social benefits and extended the payment period of installments to ten years instead of five, 60 installments and a two-month average of one hundred or 120 months.
"The ministry has succeeded in implementing the new social protection law, despite the exceptional and economic circumstances that the country is going through," Saliwa said, noting that "the ministry succeeded in retrieving the amount of 30 billion dinars of those who exceeded the social protection network during the past year."
