Al-Shammari: Choosing Al-Alaq as the best Arab central bank governor is a major achievement of the fiscal policy

head of the parliamentary bloc of the National Coalition, former deputy Kazem al-Shammari, on Thursday, chose Ali Al - Alaq as the best governor of the Central Bank in the Arab world as a "great achievement" for financial policy in Iraq .
"The selection of the governor of the Central Bank of Iraq Ali Alalak as the best central bank governor at the level of Arab countries represents a major achievement of the Iraqi financial policy in light of the difficult economic conditions experienced by Iraq," Shammari said in a statement received by Alsumaria News .
Al-Shammari added that "Iraqi competencies have begun to take their role in foreign forums, both at the Arab and international levels."
On June 28, 2018, the Central Bank of Iraq (CBE) announced that its governor, Mohsen Ismail, had been named the best central bank governor of the Arab countries for the year 2018.
