(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The Prime Minister's Office, Haider al-Abadi announced the launch of 55 thousand degrees of functional and 200 decisions to provide services.
The spokesman for the office, Saad al-Hadithi said in a press statement on Tuesday that "a lot of medium and long-term strategic projects have been initiated by the government in various service sectors in several provinces, including Basra and Baghdad."
"These projects, because of their strategic nature, which provide radical and final solutions to the problems related to services, require a period of time to complete, in addition to the financial difficulties that accompany the allocation of financial liquidity to implement them.
He stressed that "the immediate and quick implementation and urgent projects are the result of the meetings between Prime Minister Haider Abadi and representatives of more than 10 provinces so far, after the citizens and peaceful demonstrators presented their necessary and urgent needs through their representatives to the Prime Minister."
Al-Hadithi announced the issuance of more than 200 resolutions regarding these projects and needs so far at the level of those meetings and meetings of the Council of Ministers to start immediately and with urgent steps to implement the planned projects.
He pointed to "the direct most of these projects after the allocation of funds for them from the budget development of provinces and regions and petrodollar allocations and the share of provinces that have border posts."
