Iran to resume electricity exports to Iraq

Iran has resumed exporting electricity to Iraq, an Iranian official said on Tuesday.
Iranian Deputy Energy Minister Mahmoud Reza Hakki said in a press statement that Iran has resumed supplying Iraq and other neighboring countries with electricity 10 days ago and will increase supplies.
"We are now exporting 200 to 250 megawatts of electricity to Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan," he said.
Iran has stopped supplying Iraq with electricity for non - payment of bills and rising domestic consumption in Alsif.anthy 1
