    head of the armed forces, Haidar al-Abadi, said Monday that the third amendment law to the election law stipulated that the council of commissioners should be suspended until the completion of the investigations.

    "Combating terrorism and sectarianism and preventing the division of the country from the priorities of the religious authority," Abadi said in his weekly conference, followed by Al-Ghad Press, "the third amendment law of the election law provides for the suspension of the Board of Commissioners until the completion of the investigations. 2014, from which an important aspect has been achieved.
