A source close to Prime Minister Haider Abadi said Saturday that he would visit Trump on September 13 to convince him of an emergency government.
"Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will visit America on September 13 to meet with US President Donald Trump in an attempt to convince him of an emergency government in Iraq," the source told The Guardian.

It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives held an extraordinary session, earlier Saturday, on the conditions of the province of Basra in the presence of Prime Minister Haider Abadi and a number of ministers concerned on the crisis.
While the coalition called Sason, Abadi and his cabinet to resign, because of what happened in the province of Basra, the burning of many of the headquarters of the parties and places of the state, which coincided with demonstrations in protest against the deterioration of service conditions in the province, and the fall of many demonstrators between the dead and wounded.
