Political analyst Kazem al-Hajj said on Thursday that Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi faced major challenges both internally and externally. He pointed out that among these challenges are fighting corruption, working on security and political stability, and how to invest oil revenues in addition to the American challenges and regional conflicts. .
"The new government will face internal challenges, including the issue of corruption, security and political stability, the economic file, and how to invest it in oil revenues and turn them into services demanded by the public and the reference," Haj said in a statement.
"The new government must face the external challenges represented by the US and Gulf countries' pressures and the independence of political and economic decision and reject any interference in internal affairs," he added. Ending / 25 n
