The head of the reconstruction fund of the affected areas, Mustafa al-Hitti, today announced a project to compensate damaged homeowners in the liberated areas of $ 20,000 and with the support of the World Bank.
"The IMF is working with the World Bank on the reconstruction of destroyed houses in the areas affected by terrorist operations, especially on the right side of Mosul, and the return of displaced persons to their places of origin," Al-Sabah newspaper reported in a report.
"According to the statistics available in those provinces, which are based on the World Bank report to survey damage and losses, there are more than 150,000 housing units affected."
"The discussions with the World Bank continue on this project, which includes a soft loan to Iraq over a period of 25 years, the rate of interest does not exceed 5.1 percent, which begins payment after five years of the project."
