The Supreme Council of the Judiciary lied to the news that is circulating in some social networking sites regarding the issuance of a resolution concerning the criminalization of the glorification of the former regime leader Saddam Hussein and the imposition of a penalty for that.
The media center for the judiciary said in a statement received by the {Euphrates News} copy of it today that "the legislation of any law includes the criminalization of an act and then the penalty of that act is the jurisdiction of the House of Representatives exclusively as the competent body to legislate the laws constitutionally."
