    The Minister of Transport, Abdullah Luaibi, on Tuesday, began linking the train station Karbala entrance to the holy city. 
    "A team of engineering cadres and the survey team of the General Company of Railways started conducting field surveys on the proposed tracks to link the current Karbala train station with the entrance to the holy city," he said in a statement. 
    The minister said that "this comes in order to provide the best service to transport visitors and delivery to the nearest point to the holy city of Karbala by using the carrot center of the service road or by a direct curve to connect with the public street." 
    "All available alternatives will be considered for the preparation of schedules of raw quantities and the estimated cost of completing the work as soon as possible," he said.
    He added that "the Ministry of Transport's staff is making every effort to provide the best services to visitors coming to the holy cities throughout the year, especially in the visits of millions", stressing: "We will not make an effort to continue cooperation and coordination with all competent authorities to reflect a good picture of the reality of service provided to all Categories and segments of society ".

    BAGHDAD / Transport Minister Abdullah Luaibi announced on Tuesday the start of linking the Karbala train station with the entrance to the "Holy City".
    "A team of engineering cadres and the survey team of the General Company of Railways started conducting field surveys on the proposed routes to link the current Karbala train station with the entrance to the holy city," he said in a statement.
    He added that "the project comes" in order to provide the best service to transport visitors and their delivery to the nearest point to the holy city of Karbala, by using the carrot center of the service road or by a direct curve to connect with the public street.
    He pointed out that "all the alternatives available for the preparation of tables of raw quantities and the estimated cost of completing the work as soon as possible," noting that "the staff of the Ministry of Transport is making every effort to provide the best services to visitors coming to the holy cities throughout the year, especially in the million visits."

    "A team of engineering cadres and the survey team of the General Company of Railways started conducting field surveys on the proposed tracks to connect the current Karbala train station with the entrance to the holy city," he said in a statement received by Alsumaria News. 

    He added that the project comes "in order to provide the best service to transport visitors and their delivery to the nearest point to the holy city of Karbala, by using the carrot center of the service road or by a direct curve to connect with the public street."

    He pointed out that "all the alternatives available for the preparation of tables of raw quantities and the estimated cost of completing the work as soon as possible," noting that "the staff of the Ministry of Transport is making every effort to provide the best services to visitors coming to the holy cities throughout the year, especially in the million visits."
